Nathan Hartkop - Associate
Nathan Hartkop is a passionate personal injury attorney who has grown up in a family of lawyers dedicated to advocating for the rights of injured people caused by the negligence of others. While Nathan was admitted to the Michigan Bar in the Fall of 2016, he started working as a law clerk for his father, Jeffrey Hartkop, his very first day of law school at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2012. Through that perspective, he has been exposed to years of firsthand knowledge and experience as to what it takes to be a truly effective and compassionate advocate for those who are going through what can be one of the most challenging times of their lives.
Nathan is sympathetic to every client’s unique situation and understands that most people have not gone through the stages of a lawsuit. That is why one of his top priorities in working with clients is making sure they are never in the dark about what’s going on with their case. Never one to sugarcoat anything, Nathan is a true believer that honesty and transparency with people is the most effective way to represent their interests while maximizing compensation for their injuries.
Nathan is proud to be a member of Macomb Injury Lawyers, a true family business championed by two highly-respected, seasoned and compassionate personal injury attorneys, Jeffrey Hartkop and Patrick Rooney. He sincerely believes that the private family setting of the practice is what sets itself apart from other large law firms who may treat their clients’ cases as “just another file.” At Macomb Injury Lawyers, we view our clients as part of the family, and that’s how you can expect to be treated when you come to us for help.
